I'm scared of getting lost without Mommy or Daddy, and being stuck in a forest. Sometimes I also get scared that I'll forget stuff that I was supposed to do, like bring my homework to school.

I mostly have fears at night and cannot get them out of my head, so I just try to fall asleep in bed as fast as I can.

What do you enjoy about The Umbrella Girls books?

I enjoy that the stories aren't super-duper long, so you can read through them as many times as you want. But, they're long enough that you have fun reading them and get to know the characters really well.

Girls get to do very fun stuff. Anything we want! If our parents let us....

The best thing about living in Los Angeles is all the cool experiences and so many different people you can meet.

I try to be close to my friends so that they comfort me when I’m scared.

What do you enjoy about The Umbrella Girls books? And do you have any favourite books, characters or meditations in The Umbrella Girls book series?

My favourite character is Charli (from The Wisdom Office) because even though she talks a lot she uses it for good use and helps kids for good. I love when when she helps the boy that thinks he’s too small.

At school when people are crying I do my best to comfort them.

You are very kind Lulu.

We are all human - Female, male, black or white and being a girl right now is great. I went to the Women’s March with my mom and that was so cool. We are really making a comeback from 100 years ago.

It's been so inspiring talking to you Taylor, if you could encourage other girls around the world to pursue their dreams and shine, what words of inspiration would you give them?

Just to be yourself and never stop trying because you never know what your possibilities are.

I am really inspired by Jacqueline Freney who won 8 gold medals at London 2012 Paralympic games and named Young Australian of the Year in 2014. I also LOVE Katy Perry - she is pretty inspirational because she is all about girl power... I think Katy would have made a great Umbrella Girl.
